Cruising

Vacation cruises have just never appealed to me. I appreciate that some people really like the relaxation they offer, but I think I would go out of my fucking mind on a cruise ship. It would be utter hell for me. All the same, I’d never considered it could be quite this bad.

  1. One thing is for sure – the people on that boat will have a cruising story they can tell for the rest of their lives!

  2. The two times we have considered cruise vacations we looked into yachts with capacities of 200 passengers with passenger-to-crew ratios of almost 1:1. These would be $5K-10K for two, per trip, depending on itinerary.

Carnival caters to budget and family travelers…I’ll leave it at “you definitely get what you pay for.”

  3. I enjoyed the Norwegian Cruise Rick and I took. It was a Bermuda cruise that left from NYC so we were at sea longer than if,we had left from Florida or even Charleston. Don’t know if we’ll ever do it again.

  4. I can definitely see how people would enjoy cruises. It’s just really not my thing. But my idea of a great vacation is a little odd anyway; that’s why I prefer to travel alone 🙂

Seems the passengers on the cruise in the article are being compensated with a refund and a free cruise. I have a sneaking suspicion a lot of them will skip the freebie…
