Summers are Reason No. 1 I don’t live in the eastern part of the country.
Winters are Reason No. 2.
Still planning a trip to the West Coast this summer?
I’m thinking I may wait till next summer, when I can wrap t into a conference trip and let the state pay for the flight. The American Library Association is in meeting in SF, and I could probably stomach spending a couple of days there amd then driving north if it meant free airfare. If I could find a hotel in Oakland close to BART and only had to be in the city for the actual conference events, so much the better 🙂
