Perhaps the greatest thing about being single, childless and pet-free? You can, at 8:00 on a Friday night, say to yourself, “I must take a road trip to the beach and this must happen right now.”

That’s great. However, one of these days I’ll wear you down and convince you that a dog would be a wonderful companion for your passenger’s seat as you meander around the country. 🙂
(Most Hampton Inns allow dogs! Having driven x-country twice, once with dog and once with dog and cat, I am a big fan of Hampton Inns & their pet policy.)
You’re more than welcome to try but a husband, child, or pet would be an astoundingly hard sell at this point.
